Protein Intake Calculator
Protein intake is essential, especially if you’re trying to lose weight and/or build muscle.
Two of the reasons protein is so good in this regard is that it has the highest thermic effect of all three macros, meaning it takes more energy to digest than fats and carbs.
The other reason is that it’s considered to be the most satiating of the three macros, meaning you will feel more full after eating a given amount protein than you would with the same quantity of fats or carbs.
This makes calorie restriction less of a hassle.
