FILM INDUSTRY FITNESS & FUNCTIONAL MOBILITY

STRENGTH, CONDITIONING AND MOBILITY COACHING FOR ACTORS, STUNT PERFORMERS AND FILM CREWS IN CAPE TOWN, THE UK AND NORTH AMERICA

BUILT FOR THE REALITIES OF PRODUCTION

TraceFit was founded by Cape Town-based stunt performer and coach Kundai Murapa. Working in film since 2012, Kundai built the method around 12-hour calls, action rehearsals, travel, night shoots and unpredictable production schedules.

Film industry fitness at TraceFit supports actors, stunt performers and crew with strength, conditioning and functional mobility that can adapt to pre-production, principal photography and time between jobs. Coaching is available in Cape Town and online across the UK, United States and Canada.

Programmes are designed around role and department demands, available equipment, recovery and the production calendar. Technical stunt instruction, medical care and therapeutic nutrition remain with the appropriate qualified professionals.

Answer: Weekly planning, app-based communication and regular check-ins help adjust training around rehearsals, call sheets, travel and production workload.
Answer: TraceFit provides general, food-first guidance for regular meals, hydration, catering and travel. Medical diets, eating disorders and individual therapeutic nutrition should be managed by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
Answer: The method uses practical plate-building, portable snack and hydration principles so you can make balanced choices from the options available without calorie counting.

Answer: Yes. You can record completed sessions, activity and training notes. Tracking focuses on useful performance and consistency signals rather than appearance-based targets.
Answer: You can message through the app and use scheduled check-ins to request appropriate changes to training volume, session location or recovery work.
Answer: TraceFit takes a food-first approach and does not treat supplements as a routine requirement. Discuss any supplement with a qualified healthcare professional, especially if you use medication or have a health condition.
